North Country Behavioral Healthcare Network and North Country Management Services, LLC are growing.  We have a full or part-time position available for an experienced individual with strong project management skills. Job Brief
The North Country Management Services, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of the North Country Behavioral Healthcare Network (Saranac Lake, NY) is looking for an experienced Project Manager who will take on the management of a key state and federally funded project aimed at developing new IT and administrative support services for behavioral health provider agencies.  Project management responsibilities include working collaboratively with human service agency executives, delivering project components on time, and within the $300 thousand budget.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of project deliverables
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical and financial feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Submit quarterly reports to funding agency.

Requirements

  • Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of business development, and project management.
  • Proven working experience in project management in the health care and or human service sector.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

This is a 12 month full-time temporary position with benefits and the potential to become a permanent position.
