As the major air center for the Capital Region, Northeastern New York and Western New England, the Albany International Airport is less than 20 minutes from the Albany Capital Center.  It  is located at the junction of Interstate Highways 90 and 87. Getting Around Albany

Bike share: CDPHP Cycle! is a program offered through CDTA in partnership with CDPHP. Together, we’re creating a culture of health in the Capital Region by supporting recreation and exercise through bicycling. This state-of-the-art bike-share program provides residents and visitors with an alternative form of transportation that supports healthy, active lifestyles while also offering a fun and easy way to explore our communities.

The Capital City Trolley: A FREE service offered by CDTA in New York's Capital City. The trolley is available every 20 minutes, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Explore Albany's entertainment venues, restaurants and various meeting places with this free service connection Lark Street's Restaurant & Retail Row with Downtown Albany's Entertainment District! CDTA's Capital City Trolley provides easy access to: Albany Capital Center, Corning Riverfront Park, Downtown Albany Entertainment District, Lark Street's Restaurant and Retail Row, Palace Theatre, Quackenbush Sqaure, Riverfront Garage, State Capitol, Times Union Center, and Washington Avenue Armory.

Bus: The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is the regional mobility provider, offering over 50 easy to ride public bus routes throughout the region, including 29 routes connecting to downtown Albany.
