Call for Silent Auction Donations

In preparation for this seasonal event we need your help!  Each year the Holiday Party features a silent auction that raises funds for a local charity and the Rita Lashway Scholarship. 

Through your generosity, ESSAE has been able to make a huge impact on the local community. Last year's auction raised $3,600 for both the Alzheimer's Association and Rita Lashway Scholarship program bringing ESSAE’s total donated dollars, since 1993 to over $173,000.

This year’s charity will be Equinox, Inc.

Equinox is a human services agency with deep roots in the Capital Region dating back to 1947. Equinox provides services to more than 5,000 youth and adults–and their families–impacted by domestic violence, substance use and addiction, mental health disorders, homelessness, and the challenges of living amid poverty and violence. Nearly 200 dedicated staff provide compassionate care and life-changing opportunities at 12 locations throughout our community.

In addition, Equinox partners with the community—nearly 4,000 volunteers and 300 businesses, schools, congregations, organizations, farms, and families—to provide 10,000 meals to our Capital Region neighbors in need through its Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner—in its 50^th year.

Equinox is grateful for the essential support it receives throughout the year from such a caring and generous community. Thank you for believing in the work we do and for embracing our mission—Together, we are changing lives and strengthening communities.

What can you donate? It's about the experience! Experiential items create memories and journeys for attendees.
