COVID-19 Impact on Your Association's Future Strategy - Survey (Results Coming Soon!)

The coronavirus is testing associations in ways we never expected. The impact of the virus may have long-term impacts on the financial health and Mission-based strategies of the association community. The Empire State Society of Association Executives along with additional state and specialty societies of association executives, is participating in this global research project in cooperation with Association Laboratory, an independent strategic research firm specializing in association business strategy. The study assesses how association strategy has been affected, the economic consequences of this impact, and identifies how associations are altering strategy moving forward.

Participants who completed the survey will have the opportunity to view a real-time results dashboard. Additionally, every respondent will receive a complimentary overview of the Coronavirus Impact study, and a discount off a future virtual conference or webinar related to the study.

Preparing for COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

News around the COVID-19 is changing daily. We pride ourselves on being a trusted partner with our members and the greater association community. As we monitor guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the New York State Department Health, we invite you to do the same.

We encourage all to practice healthy habits, including frequent and thorough hand washing for 20 seconds with soap and hot water, use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap & water are not available, covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands, and staying home if you are sick or not feeling well.

The following resources are designed to streamline the flood of COVID-19 Coronavirus information circulating and offer tips to help you and your association move forward in this changing business environment. ESSAE will continue to update the information on this page accordingly.
